CIRCULARVIBES : "MILLENIALS IN THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY"

Event by 2Worlds, advising company for ecopreneurs (entrepreneurs x sustainability) at the London Metropolitan University, where I gave a talk with Compare Ethics and Roberta Style Lee.

"How to create using waste, minimise pollution and keep materials in use"

Guest speaker invited by 2Worlds to dissert on sustainable fashion and the circular economy, I gave the designer's point of vue on the problematics of the field and possible solutions. Through stories of creators and industrials on waste management, creation from waste and waste potentialities, I shared inspirational sustainable initiatives.

To diminish textile waste, we first need to optimise the way companies work and produce. Then, we can accept to face our own waste so we can look at it differently - not seeing useless stuff anymore, but materials with their own potential - and make new amaeing products with it!

Special thanks to Florine Bolot, designer at Ardelaine, Pauline Huard, creator of Paula and M. Saunier, from SMB Bord Côte, for answering to my questions on the way they manage and reuse their waste.
